Originally the concept was to make a LeatherCraft hobby into a business but quickly realised that finding other leather crafts people was likely to be difficult as not many can carve leather.  Embossing leather is easier so we investigated the possibility of making leather chess boards just by embossing them which can be taught.  To make these more attractive to our wonderful customers, chess pieces would be great.  Again another hobby can be made into a business – resin art.  To practice the many new elements of this craft since I last made resin chess pieces, jewellery pieces were made. We loved making these so much that this is now the main focus of Trinket Shack.  Later we will be reviving old furniture pieces with resin art.
